I hope you all enjoyed the Annual Meeting this past Saturday. Thank you to all who actually made it happen and to all the models, it was a lot of fun.
Did you see the handouts on the welcome table for the Sulky Thread?  You can check out the offerings of Sulky by clicking on the box to the left, for Sulky! There, you will find a Free Webinar with our very own Pam Damour! If you have ever been to a class you know what a true treat this is! Check it out and let me know what you think.

Panetone Autumn 2018

Ah Autumn. Sweet and fresh apples. Snuggling under a blanket. Wearing my favorite sweater. Let's let go of all this hot sweaty humidity, and get on with the crisp mornings and pretty evenings shall we?  Meanwhile, we can look forward to sprucing up our wardrobe with some new colors picked just for you and me from the Fashion Biz.  I'm finding Ceylon Yellow an interesting choice, but I fear it would need to be paired with a VERY basic neutral. I tell you though, you will not find me in Russet Orange!

Take a look, and find your colors for the new season.

Panetone Spring 2018

Panetone Spring 2018 collection is a bit on the bright side for my warm/neutral coloring. However! Look at the beauty of Almost Mauve! Pink Lavender and Harbor Mist will probably be on my mind as I shop by fabric or ready to wear. How about you???

Sewing Plans

Do you have a sewing plan for 2018? Do you have a skill you want to learn? What have you done last year? Let me know!  I'm sure your friendly ASG members would love to read about it.

For me, I am going to focus on items I can't buy for myself and just have fun in the sewing room. I am trying to have confidence in my choices and just cut into that fabric that I have been holding on to. But some fabrics like the owl print silk that I bought on our last bus trip, is still waiting for the right pattern.

This is a run down of my dress sewing highlights for the past year. Enjoy!
